The first Israeli city for Sarit is a place of living, working and a source of inspiration. Sarit, an artist, creating from childhood, already painted and created at A.D. Gordon Elementary School. There, at 4th grade, she began to draw the city views. The Machlool neighborhood, a cluster of shacks on Hayarkon street, not existing anymore, was among the places in which Sarit first experienced the romanticism and nostalgia of the city. Sarit draws the themes about Tel Aviv from the lively streets which keep changing continuously; Dizengoff street, Masarik Square with its cafés and people in motion, the eclectic Nahlat Benjamin. Rotschild Boulevard and the beach, in the hot sizzling summer or in the winter, and the walking people creating various stories. Also, the background of all are the uniquestyled buildings, characterizing Tel Aviv as the one and only. Another texture of the Tel-Aviv variety is the green spots, painted by Sarit throughout her creative history. Sarit, a painter and sculptor, has presented her art in public and private collections in Israel and worldwide. She teaches art and has exhibited in solo and group presentations in Israel and abroad.
